The funds raised from this year’s Giving Back Gala will make a meaningful impact in our community. The funding will support the transition to a choice pantry model, creating a welcoming space where neighbors can shop for the foods that best meet their needs. By reconfiguring our current layout, we aim to provide a safer, more accessible environment that fosters connection and dignity.
A choice pantry empowers individuals and families to select foods based on their preferences, cultural traditions, and dietary needs—much like a traditional grocery store. This approach not only reduces food waste but also ensures that the items selected are both useful and meaningful. More importantly, it creates opportunities for conversation, relationship-building, and a stronger sense of community.
While the impact of these funds is significant, the evening was about more than just fundraising. It was a true celebration of the compassionate supporters and dedicated volunteers who bring our mission to life. Your energy and generosity turned the night into something special—filled with connection, laughter, and a shared commitment to helping others.
