Financial Assistance
Emergency Financial Assistance
Financial help with utilities and/or housing is available to those in need Living in 40272, 40258 or the Jefferson County Portion of 40177 to keep their utilities from being discontinued and/or keeping them from becoming homeless.
IF YOU HAVE APPLIED WITH US ALREADY CHECK YOUR EMAIL & PHONE – You only get 24 hours to respond before we have to move to the next client!

Food Services & Programs
Food Pantry
Part of the Dare to Care food distribution program, our Food Pantry provides food supplies and basic necessities to our clients in need. We also get donations from area churches, businesses, schools and individuals.
Food Pantry Hours:
Monday – Friday
11:30AM – 3:00PM
Senior Food Programs
We maintain two Dare to Care programs that provide food to eligible seniors.

Meals on Wheels
Hot, nutritious meals are prepared and available to eligible home-bound seniors every weekday. A mid-day meal is sponsored by Metro Louisville and an evening meal sponsored by KYOne Health.

Seasonal Programs
Back-to-School
Provides area children with backpacks and various school supplies to match teachers’ lists, helping children to stay in school and learn. Sponsored by donations from individuals, organizations, and LG&E.

Children's Christmas
Helps bring Christmas joy to neighborhood children in need. Program partners include several area churches, schools, organizations and individuals.
We have closed our Christmas Application Process for 2022.

Winter Help
Community-based funds distributed by SWCM during peak winter season to help with home energy bills. Supported by donations that are matched by LG&E.
